Klever Kreations, a body-painting group of Georgia Southern University students are looking on the GSU campus for ladies to model their body art and mingle with guests at a Mardi Gras event.

The group consists of four freshman students. They are: political science major, Princess Williams, biology major Kacheri Glover, English major Asjah Johnson and biology major Taylor Nix.  Klever Kreations is affiliated with SkinzArt, a body art group in Atlanta that was founded by the mother of one of the group’s members.

“Kacheri’s mom is the founder of SkinzArt in Atlanta, and since she used to help her, she gained experience and started a group here at Georgia Southern, it’s really cool, it’s just something that is fun for us,” Williams said.

Two members of  Klever Kreations are also a part of the promotional group, Young Billionaires Movement. The two groups have conjoined forces to find models that are willing to wear Mardi Gras body art to a Mardi Gras themed party which will be hosted at The Grill on this Saturday from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m.

The group members are hoping to use this event as a way to gain notoriety on campus and promote themselves throughout the community.

“We are really working to get our names out there on campus,” Williams said

Models will have to pay a $5 application fee, but will get into the actual event for free, no previous experience is needed, but models will need to be comfortable being painted. Model auditions will be held today from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Williams Center.
